29/04/2014 – SafeStand® Ltd were invited to demonstrate the range of SafeStand® Access Systems to the Kier Construction Aftercare Team at their London office in Loughton. As it turned out attendees from all departments of the Kier Construction London office attended the presentation including Health & Safety, the Aftercare Team, Planning, Construction, Commercial and Senior Management. The SafeStand® presentation was well received with many relevant questions being asked about the different systems, their capabilities and their suitability for different types of tasks.

Attending the SafeStand® Presentation were John Callaghan (SHE Advisor Kier London) and Mark Starling (SHE Manager Kier London).

02/04/2014 On Tuesday 1^st April 2014 SafeStand® Ltd attended the South Wales College SHAD (Safety & Health Awareness Day) at Neath College and demonstrated SafeStand® Access Systems to the attendees.

The event was organised by the local WWT (Working Well Together) and HSE teams and was attended by upwards of 80 college students. Presentations at the event were made by Paul Harvey (HSE Principal Inspector for the Wales Construction Division) and Huw Llywelyn (WWT) as well as a number of industry professionals.

The presentations were well received by the college students and increased their awareness of ways to overcome potential hazards in their future working lives in the construction industry.
