SafeStand® Ltd have been a member of the Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme (FORS) since 2013. By joining the FORS scheme it has helped us make the roads safer, cleaner and less congested. For vehicle operators, it offers peace of mind that they are meeting their legislative requirements, as well as helping to increase efficiency, reduce costs, pollution and noise while striving to minimise road risk and environmental impacts.

Towards the end of 2020 we had both our FORS Silver and Bronze accreditations up for renewal. This process requires all our vehicles, fleet company policies and procedures to be audited to the new version 5.1 FORS Standard. We can proudly say that we have achieved reapproval for both the FORS Sliver and Bronze accreditations. We will continue to raise our levels in fleet operations as we strive to meet best practice in safety, efficiency and environmental protection while transporting our goods across the UK.

18th December 2020

Vinci Construction are working on £100m specialist hospital facility in Birmingham. The facility will provide care to private patients in the area and extra capacity for NHS patients. It is being built on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus for a partnership with HCA UK & UHB.

The 138-bed hospital will include a radiotherapy unit, operating theatres and will provide complex procedures and treatments across cancer, neurology, orthopaedics and more.

AKS Building Ltd have hired our SureStand 500 system to complete a portion of the works on site.

The project is due to be completed in 2022.

Cherry Park is an exciting new mix use development situated partly in Westfield Stratford, one of Europe’s largest shopping centres. The development consists of high quality residential, commercial and retail units with ample green spaces.

George and his team from Swift Brickwork Contractors are pushing ahead with the blockwork package, utilising the simplicity and speed of assembly of the 1200 system to provide a safe and stable working platform.

Swift are a valued customer of SafeStand and as demonstrated in the attached pictures produce a very professional finish, well done to all involved.
